$75 per person for a 2 hour session. No more than three people, please.

My workshop opens to a glorious back garden with my sculptures scattered throughout the fruits, flowers, veggies, and a small frog pond. It's a lovely place to wander or lounge while waiting for a turn--or feel free to play badminton. I'm in the village of Baldwinsville, NY, and I'll send you the address when you schedule. On the CENTRO line, use bus Sy82.

Welding is dirty business. Don't wear your best anything.

• Shoes: Choose close-toed footwear that won't melt from a shower of sparks.
• Pants: Choose full-length pants in natural fabrics. Yoga pants melt amazingly fast.
• Shirt: Choose a natural fabric, see above. An old T-shirt or sweatshirt is a great choice, and I do have a few to loan. 

I will provide leather gloves, apron, and eyewear (helmet or goggles). For the record, I sustain more burns in the kitchen than I ever do welding.

I aim to introduce you to welding in a fun, engaging, and safe way. Come to play, don't worry about performance. The experience is more important than the product in an introductory session. It may be frustrating if you expect yourself to have instant proficiency.
